St. Barthelemy: Baie St. Jean, 1992
$350.00
St. Barts, as it is called, is located in the Lesser Antilles, about twelve miles east of St. Martens. Volcanic in origin, it occupies only eight square miles. Discovered by Columbus in 1493, it was named after his brother Bartholomeo. Inhabited later than most of the islands due to its lack of fresh water, it was eventually settled by the French and is now a dependency of Guadaloupe.
