Pencil Popper Lure Sculpture

Handmade Pencil Popper Lure sculpture by Ken Picou. A fantastic flyfishing lure. The pencil popper is used in both fresh and saltwater. Freshwater its used for bass and bream. In saltwater it works for speckled trout and the occasional redfish. A must for the flyfisherman, the pencil popper features a real horsehair tail.

This eye catching sculpture is hand crafted out of Louisiana cypress. Each sculpture has as many as 15 coats of paint. The solid steel hooks are actual fishing hooks used in the Norwegian fishing industry. These pieces always bring an instant smile to all who see them.
