“Grand Bankers” Returning Home

Depicted here is one of the “Grand Bankers” returning to port, the buoy indicating that the vessel is just coming into the shipping channel. Though she has returned safely, the dark swells and active sky suggest the perils of her work. The dories can be seen nested and tied along each side of her deck.
